"Rise Again", or "The Mary Ellen Carter", by Stan Rogers became a very special song to many of the villagers in the aftermath of the big flood. It was sung every Wednesday outside The Welly by the local singers who kept the singers' night alive through months of mucking out and re-building -stirring stuff!
